PROFIL Study to Investigate the Effect of GPB on NfL Levels in Patients With Corticobasal Syndrome (CBS) (PROFIL)

Neurofilament Light Chain (NfL) is a protein that is found in nerve cells. It is released into the cerebrospinal fluid and blood when nerve cells are damaged or degenerating. Measuring levels of NfL can be used as a biomarker to track the progression of various neurological conditions, such as multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
